Dear Church family,
We are finishing our 3rd week of not being able to gather, and I really miss seeing all of you. Right now, many in our city and in our church family are struggling with a lot of potential loss. I have spoken with several different people who have lost jobs, business owners who are trying to save jobs, and families who are trying to keep everyone safe. The people around us are struggling.
These realities remind me that we need to continue to represent Jesus to one another. When our church family is suffering, we need to make sure we are showing care for each other. And when our corporate gathering is taken away, then we will use creative ways to connect.
We also need to make sure that we are able to continue to engage our city with the good news. We have developed two tools to help you engage your friends and family well during this time. First, make sure you invite people to watch our online services. There are many people who will watch an online sermon that will not go to church. Second, we want to equip you to share your personal gospel story.
On Monday April 27th, we want to invite everyone in our church to post a brief video of their gospel story on their personal social media accounts. Imagine how many people will get exposed to our gospel stories if we are able to flood Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. like that!
In order to help you do the best job possible of sharing your story, I am offering a training workshop. It will be offered three separate times so that it can work out for you no matter your current schedule. Just click this link and fill out the form to register for one of these 3 gospel story workshops. I am praying that God will use this to help us make inroads into our city for the gospel.
For His Name Sake
